Robert C. Lunger counsels clients and handles litigation on a variety of issues, including family law, civil litigation, land use/construction law, municipal law, contract disputes, and business litigation. Mr. Lunger joined Wharton Aldhizer & Weaver PLC in 2008 after serving as the City Attorney for the City of Waynesboro. Prior to his appointment as City Attorney, Mr. Lunger worked at a Northern Virginia firm and served a one-year judicial clerkship with the 17th Judicial Circuit Court of Virginia.

Representative Experience

• Most recently, Mr. Lunger served as the City Attorney for the City of Waynesboro, Virginia. His duties included exercising the management, charge and control of all legal affairs of the city and otherwise acting as the principal legal advisor to City Council, the City Manager, and to the various city departments.
