WAW Selected as One of Virginia's Largest Law Firms - June 13, 2008

Wharton Aldhizer & Weaver, PLC (“WAW”) was recognized as one of Virginia’s Largest Law Firms in 2008 by Virginia Lawyers Weekly.  The annual survey of  “Virginia’s Largest Law Firms” ranks the 75 largest firms in the commonwealth, based on the number of Virginia-licensed attorneys working in offices located within Virginia as of Jan. 1, 2008. There are over 2,400 firms of all sizes domiciled in Virginia, according to Martindale–Hubbell, and WAW was ranked as the 39^th largest firm with 24 attorneys at the time of the publication. WAW currently has 25 attorneys with two additional attorneys scheduled to join the firm in August.

Established more than 160 years ago in Harrisonburg with roots dating back to 1845, the firm began to shape its structure when the firm formally became Wharton Aldhizer & Weaver, PLC, in 1941.
